For more than 25 years as a strategic marketing and communications professional, Maggie Baum has served clients ranging from Fortune 500 corporations to local non-profit groups. She’s hosted product launch parties in NYC, trudged through Iowa farm fields, and become an expert in everything from craft beer to high-end toilets in her quest to help clients share great stories.
Maggie is a member of the Cottage Grove Chamber of Commerce. On a volunteer basis, she led a group of parents in building an interactive children’s garden at her sons’ elementary school and served on its governance board for several years. An avid baseball fan, she served as an at-large board member and sponsorship coordinator for Kennedy Little League, and now volunteers as a "Buddy" at Miracle League of Dane County. Maggie and her family also serve as a "Big Family" to a young boy through Big Brothers Big Sisters.
A yogi and a “Lake Girl,” Maggie is passionate about healthy, sustainable communities. When she's not at home, there's a good chance she's at a baseball game or music festival. At home in Monona, Maggie especially enjoys walking, kayaking, swimming, and playing outside with with her husband, two teenage sons, and their dogs Rocket and Rookie.
